What is Roleplaying?: Taking on the role of a character and acting out their actions and interactions with others.

What is Powergaming?: Generally, I describe it as overpowering someone's character. In RP, it tends to look like: "____ shoots an arrow and it hits ____ right in the eye, sending him off the cliff" instead of the more fair "____ shoots an arrow, aiming for ____'s eye"

What is Metagaming?: Using OOC information to have an upper hand or know something when your character ICly wouldn't.

Explain why Powergaming and Metagaming are bad: It disrupts the RP and makes everything very unfair for those who don't metagame or powergame.

Character Name: Red
Species: Zangoose

Personality: Generally cold and distant. He's very intent on his work, and tends to choose that over talking to others. Not much is known about him because of how little he tends to interact with others.
Appearance: He's not much different from other Zangoose. Though, he has a small scar on his hip. He doesn't like talking about it.

Strengths: Very strong and level headed.
Weaknesses: Due to little social interaction, he's very bad at talking, and this generally makes it harder for him to be kind, and thus, many don't like him.

Likes: Being alone, peace and quiet, working, finishing missions and tasks.
Dislikes: Other pokemon, Seviper especially.

Backstory:
Red was, simpy put, the runt of his family. He was smaller and generally weaker than his siblings, and tended to be picked on because of this. This is where his hatred of other pokemon stemmed from. He hated being so weak and so he left home in order to train and become stronger. After leaving his home of the normal type capital, he stumbled upon Wonderville, and immediately signed up for the guild. He trained hard, doing lots of dungeon exploring and missions, and eventually becoming much, much stronger.

However, unbeknownst to him, there was a war that broke out with the normal capital, and its long term enemy, the fighting capital. Due to the severity of this war, many died, and among the deaths, most of his siblings, and his father died.

When he finally returned home for the first time in awhile, his house was in disarray. His only remaining sibling, his older brother, was taking care of his mother, who wasn't doing very good considering how her children and husband died. Red wanted to help out as well, but when he tried, his mother lashed out in a fit of anger, and cut deep into his thigh. Backing away, his brother told him that he shouldn't be around right now, as their mother was falling into a rut of depression, and due to her old age and Red's leave, she barely even recognized him.

Leaving the house with a heavy heart, Red returned to the guild, and was even colder than before.
But... even if he was upset that his mother didn't even know who he was, he still wanted to become stronger. And one day, fight in a war with the Fighting Empire, as a form of revenge for his family's many deaths.
